Admission Process/Requirements
Students should expect to start in the fall semester. Eligibility for admission will be decided by a review committee specific to the specialization indicated on your application.
Minimum expectations include:
- Complete and submit application to the USU School of Graduate Studies
- Be sure to indicate which specialization option you wish to complete
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Entrance exam required: GRE (Currently Optional)
- Minimum 40th percentile in verbal and quantitative - required if scores are submitted.
- Three letters of recommendation -- If the student has been out of school for more than two years, all recommendations can be professional letters of recommendation.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores: This requirement will be waived if a student has a degree from a university in an English-speaking country.
- Minimum Required Score for Internet-based test: 79
- Minimum Required Score for paper-based test: 59
