David's experience dealing with the financial challenges of technology start-up companies provides insights that can be leveraged throughout the vSpring portfolio.
During his 11 year tenure with Ernst & Young's High Technology practice in Silicon Valley and Salt Lake City, he worked with numerous venture backed companies, advising them through equity transactions and M&A activities. David has also lived in the start-up world, serving as chief financial officer to several early stage technology companies. David experienced first hand the challenges of raising venture capital, managing a growing business and negotiating through exit opportunities.
David's responsibilities include the firm's financial management, limited partner reporting, regulatory compliance and administrative functions of vSpring and its related partnerships. He has also served on the board of directors for PS'SOFT and Netaphor.
David graduated with honors from Utah State University, receiving a BS in Accounting.
