Minor in Web Development
The foundational role of the web across all businesses and organizations provides an advantage for college graduates from any background or program who have basic web programming and design skills. The Web Development minor is an option that can significantly enhance any resume and complement any major, providing students with hands-on practical experience in HTML, CSS, Python, and JavaScript, along with web/database interfaces, web apps, application programming interfaces (APIs), and other web-related tools. These skills are consistently identified among the most critical and marketable in job postings related to all industries and professions.
Minor Requirements (15 Credits)
Starting Fall 2020 an overall GPA of 2.0 is required for enrollment in this business minor. A student from outside the Huntsman School who desires to pursue any business minor must recognize that there may be prerequisites to required minor courses and that a GPA of 2.5 must be obtained in minor courses in order for the minor to be awarded at graduation.
