Amma Amponsah just took a big step away from the poverty red-line. In fact, she may have broken the cycle forever. Amma is now a business woman, a community leader, and self-reliant.
SEED interns trained and approved Amma for a $150 loan that made all the difference. The $150 loan plus the $200 she had in savings enabled Amma to fully stock her provision store—once nothing more than a humble card table scattered with a little soap, rice and biscuits for sale.
Amma isn’t done yet. With a new loan pending she has goals to become a wholesaler for other stores like hers. Upward and onward. Congratulations, Amma!
Many stories like Amma’s can be told because of SEED Interns. It all starts with SEED.
