Nelson was named to the prestigious Patriot's Club of LPL Financial – a status reserved for less than 10 percent of all advisors, based on a production ranking of all registered advisors at LPL Financial at year end 2007. During the annual LPL Financial MASTERS 2008 conference, this year held in Phoenix, Nelson was recognized for his performance and commitment to client service.
