Curriculum

Our curriculum was developed with two strategic goals:

  1. Provide students with expert, cutting-edge information systems knowledge, ethical values and the ability to execute.
  2. Support the Huntsman four pillars of excellence – Ethical Leadership, Global Vision, Analytical Rigor, and Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Checklist of requirements

  • Candidates who have not graduated from an AACSB accredited business program must complete the Accelerated Business Core.
  • Up to nine (9) approved graduate credit equivalents can be counted as electives towards the MSMIS degree (i.e., 5000 level credits)
  • A program of study must be approved by the students’ major professor, one additional MIS faculty and the MIS graduate director.
