Biography

David B. "Bi" Stephens is a Professor of Management and Dean Emeritus in the Department of Management and Human Resources at Utah State University. He received his Ph.D. in Labor Relations and Labor Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Stephens came to Utah State University in 1985 and became Dean of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business in 1986, serving in that capacity until 2002. Prior to joining the USU faculty he held faculty appointments at Florida State University, Texas Tech University, and the University of Texas at El Paso. His teaching interests are in labor relations and strategic management. His current research focuses on strategy development in non-profit organizations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
