Since the USU graduate tuition is decided by the Utah legislature each March, all information below is only an estimation based on last year’s costs. The values in the table below include tuition, fees, and Huntsman School of Business differential tuition.

For qualified on-campus full-time students, financial aid assistance is offered through the U.S. Government and the USU Financial Aid Office. To qualify for federal student loans and financial aid packages, students must submit a FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students are encouraged to apply for government aid after they are admitted to the MMIS program.
Additional MIS assistantships and scholarships are also available. Assistantships and scholarships are very competitive and are distributed to qualified students who have been admitted to the MMIS program by March 1.

In-State Tuition Opportunity for Out-Of-State Students
The MMIS program is designated as a WRGP, which allows academically qualified residents of the following states to attend our program and pay only resident tuition:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming
Applicants from participating states who would like to be considered for the WRGP waiver must submit a brief memo to the MIS Graduate Student Office stating such intent. This tuition reduction is available in the MIS portion of the dual degree programs as well.
In-state Tuition Opportunity for Out-Of-State Students
A one-year waiver that allows any non-resident or international student to attend the MMIS program, paying only resident tuition if he/she meets the following eligibility criteria or better:
