Host a Company Tour and Networking Mixer

Invite our students to your company and showcase your products and strategy. This networking opportunity provides you with the opportunity to meet our students outside of a recruiting setting. In addition, students meet hiring managers and are educated about opportunities the industry provides.

Schedule On-Campus Interviews

In addition to providing individual or group interviewing facilities, we handle all of the logistics involved in arranging your on-campus interviews. The Career Services's recruitment coordinator, Kim Latu, kim.latu@usu.edu or 435.797.1745, is available to handle your requirements and ensure a successful interview day. Interviews are conducted on a pre-selected basis only.

Offer Year-Round Internships

A student who has had a productive summer internship can serve as your company's greatest promoter to fellow students. Recruiting for summer internships begins in January and continues throughout the spring semester. The typical internship is structured as a three-month independent project or as a series of short-term assignments. We also place many students in internships throughout the school year. For more information please contact Paige Geslin, internship coordinator, at 435.797.2272 or via email paige.geslin@usu.edu

For more information on internships, please visit our employer’s resource page at http://www.usu.edu/cob/ceo/employers/index.cfm.

Participate in Practice Behavioral Interviews

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business values giving our students the best possible preparation for their careers and invites employers to help students by participating in mock behavioral interviews. Please contact the Career Services's recruitment coordinator, Kim Latu, by e-mail at kim.latu@usu.eduor by phoning 435.797.1745, if interested in this great opportunity to help prepare our students.

Participate in the USU Spring Career Fair

Held annually in March, the USU Career Fair is a one-day recruiting event held at USU for firms in search of full-time, part-time, and executive candidates for career and internship positions.

Mentor a Student

Volunteer your time as a mentor and provide students with the opportunity to seek career guidance by fostering relationships between students and experienced business people. The mentor is a coach, guide, motivator, advisor, and role model. Mentors have the opportunity to:

  • Share knowledge about organizational cultures, industries, and career paths.
  • Help the student develop his or her interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Teach the student business conduct and protocol.
  • Offer networking opportunities.
