Recent Change: The international trip is no longer a requirement for the program. The cost of tuition and fees has therefore been reduced by $5,000. The trip is still an option, however, and it is strongly suggested that students take advantage of this opportunity to increase their international experience. |
In cooperation with Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA), we offer a part-time MBA program, conveniently located in their offices at 220 East Morris Avenue. Our faculty travels to the location to provide the same learning experience we offer on campus. This allows Utah State University to meet the needs of many individuals who could not otherwise complete an MBA. The classes are taught for five weeks over an eight-week timeframe and are identical in content to those offered on campus. The additional time is to be used to prepare, stay current, and complete assignments for the class. We try to schedule the programs with a two-week break between courses and try to avoid holidays. The program is offered on Friday 6:00 to 10:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. No specialization is offered at this location. However, if the individual is willing to travel to Orem, he or she may take three alternative accounting courses, thus qualifying for the accounting specialization. For further information, please contact us.

The UACPA program is a cohort program. Offering an alliance program is contingent on admission of a minimum pool of qualified applicants. The start of a new program may be delayed until this number is reached. Applicants should be aware that all deadlines are soft deadlines. The MBA program will continue to accept applications for the program until all of the program seats have been filled.
You will need to submit the following items on-line to the School of Graduate Studies.
The application and fees are needed to begin the application process. All items must be received by the School of Graduate Studies before the application is considered complete.
IMPORTANT: Please specify "UACPA" on your application under "Additional Information."
*Prospective students who have been out of school for more than two years may submit three (3) professional letters of recommendation.
**Applicants to the MBA program are required to take either the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT ) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test. For applicants located in Cache Valley, Utah, registration for the GRE exam can be accomplished online at www.ets.org/gre/grereg.html or by calling USU Testing Services at 435-797-1004. When sending test scores, Utah State University's institutional code for the GRE exam is 4857. Registration for the GMAT exam can be accomplished online at www.mba.com.
