USU Career Services

It is the student's  responsibility to be proactive in finding employment.  USU's Office of Career Services can provide considerable assistance.  Career Services is located on the ground floor of the University Inn, adjacent to the Glen L. Taggart Student Center.  The office number is (435) 797-7777.  Students should contact Career Services during the first term of their program to take advantage of these available resources and to develop a personal employment strategy.  This process frequently requires several months.

Additional, in-depth information may be found at Career AGGIE.  Career AGGIE is your online resource for searching job/internship postings, researching employers, networking with alumni, and signing up for campus interviews.  Students should note that it is necessary to register with Career AGGIE before the service may be utilized.

The faculty in the Huntsman School of Business have contacts with alumni and some firms, which may be useful to students.  Please keep your advisor updated on your current address and telephone number so you can be contacted with job information as it becomes available.  Also, students will find networking through professional associations and personal contacts extremely useful in finding employment.  Students who develop a careful plan for finding a job and solicit assistance well in advance will have an advantage in the job market.
