Biography

Dr. Cynthia Gibson's educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, M.B.A. in Management from Texas A&M University, and Doctorate in Education in Educational Administration with a Specialization in College Teaching (Business) from Oklahoma State University. Her industry experiences include management, marketing, consulting, and sales in private industry and higher education. She has served as fulltime business faculty at colleges and universities in Texas, Oklahoma, New York, Indiana, Canada and Washington and guest lectured at universities in China. She earned the rank of full Professor and tenure at a private university in Indiana. Dr. Gibson has developed new higher education curriculum at several U.S. and international universities, some of this done while living and working in Singapore. For the last three years, Dr. Gibson has served in various administrative and curriculum development roles at higher education institutions in Washington, Singapore, and Utah and is now very happy to return to teaching and community economic development.
