Participating in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business internship program provides students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in the classroom into a work environment. The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business internship program offers opportunities for students at all stages in post-secondary education. Students must meet the guidelines listed under each course to qualify for the respective course.
BUS 2250 – INTRODUCTORY INTERNSHIP (1-9 credits available)
Students wishing to complete the introductory internship course should meet the following guidelines:

Based upon eligibility requirements, options are available for all business students interested in completing an internship for credit. Undergraduate students can earn up to 9 credits of Introductory Internship credit (BUS 2250) as well as 9 credits of Advanced Internship credit (BUS 4250) prior to graduation. Most graduate students in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business are eligible to earn up to 3 credits of Graduate Internship credit (BUS 6250).
The number of credits available depends on the hours spent working. Interns will also receive a letter grade based on work performance.
