Thompson retires from Zions Bank

Brad Thompson, commercial relationship manager and vice president for Zions bank, is retiring after 31 years of service.
An open house is scheduled in his honor Wednesday, September 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend at the Zions Bank Richfield office.
"I feel so fortunate to have been able to work iwth so many fine and dedicated employees over the last 31 years," Thompson said. "I will miss them dearly, along with our wonderful clients and community friends. It has been such a blessing in my life to live and work in Richfield where people sincerely car about each other, and are always willing to work together for the good of the community."
A Scipio native, Thompson began his career with Zions bank in 1978, as a commercial loan officer, following his employment with First Security Bank, also as a commercial loan officer in both Richfield and Fillmore.
Thompson, who holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business from Utah State University, is active in the community, and is a member of the National Commercial Lending Graduate School, as well as a memeber of the board of directors for the Six County Revolving Loan Fund for economic development.
Brad and his wife, Elsinore native Dorothy Busk Thompson, reside in Richfield.
They have three children and five grandchildren.
Brad said he plans to spend his retirement cattle ranching and farming in Scipio, as well as traveling to Canada and Colorado to visit his grandchildren.
