Kevin McBeth joined the School of Accountancy faculty in 2010 at Utah State University’s regional campus in Tooele, his home town, after spending five years on the research staff of the Financial Accounting Standards Board in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Prior to his time at the FASB, Dr. McBeth held faculty positions in accounting at Brigham Young University – Hawaii and at Weber State University.
Dr. McBeth’s teaching and research interests have related primarily to financial accounting and tax accounting.
He has published and made presentations in those and other areas of accounting.
He also has served in departmental, college, and university assignments, and worked with accounting student organizations.
He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of two grown children.
