Bruce Fonnesbeck

Bruce Fonnesbeck was born and raised in Weston, Idaho. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science in 1968 from Utah State University and two years later he graduated with an MBA also from USU.

After graduation he went to work as a computer systems analyst in sales and presales with Control Data Corporation (super computer hardware and software sales) for five years (1969-1974).

In 1974, he left Control Data and began employment at Data General Corporation (mini computer hardware and software sales) as a sales representative.

From 1991 to 1996 he was employed with Evans & Sutherland Corporation (graphics and workstations; hardware and software sales) in Salt Lake City working as director of sales for North America and the Pacific Rim.

His most recent employer was Cisco Systems (networking and communications; hardware and software sales) where he worked as the regional sales manager and operations director.

In 2003, he retired after working for 33 years in Corporate America.

Bruce and his late wife, Linda Seamons, have three sons and seven grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, skiing and riding his Harley Davidson.
