Dell Loy Hansen has been the president of Wasatch Property Management, Inc. since its inception in 1988; with corporate headquarters located in Logan, Utah.

Wasatch currently employs over 600 employees who manage 47 residential communities with approximately 12,000 apartment units and 20 commercial buildings with 2.4 million of rental square footage throughout the western United States. Wasatch and its affiliated investor-owned entities maintain a real estate portfolio in excess of $1.2 billion.

Wasatch Property Management owns several key buildings in downtown Salt Lake City, including the Wells Fargo Tower, the Ken Garff Building and the Chase Building. They also own a commercial development called the Woodlands in Salt Lake City.

They are developers of the Riverwoods business park on 700 South and Main Street in Logan. It will feature several businesses, including a Marriott Suites, which just had its open house last week, a Coppermill Restaurant, a convention center and new offices for Wasatch Property Management.

The Hansen’s success in business has allowed them to been actively involved in various state and local charitable organizations, contributing over $10 million dollars. The Hansen Charitable Support Foundation established the Hansen Scholars Program in 2002, which funds retention scholarships for an estimated 20 to 25 students a year who might not have otherwise been able to afford to attend USU. They also support the Hansen Scholars in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, which funds differential tuition scholarships for 100 students per semester.

Lynnette and Dell Loy are both Aggies. Lynnette received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from USU. Dell Loy received his bachelor’s degree in political science.
