T.V. Slide Request

Here are the current guidelines for the development of slides for the T.V. Screens. Club events and most other slides will be advertized for one week prior to the event. Speakers can be advertized for two weeks in advance. If you have an event that you would like to have displayed longer, you will need to make arrangements with Shara Gibbons, shara.gibbons@usu.edu, 435-797-2308. The Dean’s Office has the right to refuse to add any slides to the screens that they feel are not appropriate or relevant to our audience.

Self Design (you create the slide):

Slides will need to be sent by email to Shara Gibbons, shara.gibobns@usu.edu. If there are any changes that need to be made to the slide, she will contact you. You will also be contacted when the slide has been added to the screens.

Guidelines

  • Dimensions: 1360X 768
  • Resolution 72 ppi
  • A transparent Huntsman combined logo (.gif or EPS) must be included on the slide. Appropriate logos can be found on the Logo Files Webpage, the Huntsman USU Wordmark is preferred.
  • Additional logo (transparent .gif, EPS or AI file, so background will show through the logo), can be included on the slide.
  • If you want elements of your slide to transition onto the screen, you will need to provide a Photoshop (.psd) file with layers. A transition will then be applied to each of the layers.
  • PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) slides can not be used directly on the T.V. screens.  If you would like to create a PowerPoint slide for me to use as a reference, I can then create a Photoshop (.psd) file based on of this file.
  • If you don’t want transitions, then you can provide a .jpg file.

Submitted for Generic Design:

  • Provide content and graphics by the use of this online form Slide Request Form
  • After the slide is created for you and you have approve it, the slide will then be added to the screens.
