Spring Commencement 2008
The commencement and hooding ceremony for graduate students is set for Friday, May 2, 2008. The candidates will line up at 12:30 p.m. at the Nelson Field House. The procession from the Nelson Field House to Dee Glen Smith Spectrum will begin at 1 p.m. and the ceremony will start at 1:30 p.m.
The commencement reception for all Jon M. Huntsman School of Business graduates and their guests will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Center and West Colony Room of the Taggart Student Center. Students should RSVP by Wednesday, April 30, 2008, to their respective departments with the number of guests that they plan to bring.
The university-wide undergraduate commencement ceremony will be Saturday, May 3, 2008.
Candidates will assemble on the University Quad at 8:30 a.m. The procession to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum will start at 9 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business commencement ceremony for undergraduates will be Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 12 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Students are to be lined up in the main southwest tunnel by 11:30 p.m. Students will each need to locate their color-coded name card that will be posted on a wall at the Spectrum. The colors for the cards are as follows:
- Accounting - white
- Business Administration - green
- Management Information Systems - yellow
- Economics - light blue
- Management and Human Resources - light pink
