Blake graduated from Utah State University Cum Laude in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Blake spent 3 years in the consulting division of KPMG International with an emphasis in manufacturing and technology. During the past 18 years, Blake has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial ventures and M&A activities in a variety of industries including finance, real estate, transportation and manufacturing. Blake founded Inovar, Inc. and was CEO from 1999 to 2012; he is currently the majority shareholder and Chairman of the Board. Inovar is the largest Electronics Manufacturing Company in the Rocky Mountain region providing design and manufacturing services to high growth OEMs in the medical device and aerospace industries. Inovar, Inc. has experienced over 500% growth in the past 5 years. Blake was a finalist for the 2004 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Blake also is an active angel investor and serves on four of his portfolio board of directors.
Blake currently lives in Salt Lake City and San Diego. He has two children, Bailey and Alex. He is planning to marry his fiancé Dove this summer. He loves nature and enjoys hiking, running; is an avid golfer and scuba diver and a big fan of college athletics.
