Scott Nixon

Scott currently serves as the managing partner of the Salt Lake City office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has 24 years of experience in public accounting, most of which has been in the Salt Lake City office. His experience includes providing audit and business advisory services to public and private companies in various industries.

Scott has been involved in numerous complex filings with the SEC and has been instrumental in resolving unique accounting issues with the SEC on behalf of his clients. He is a frequent instructor of continuing professional education courses.

Scott recently returned from a four-year assignment in S?o Paulo, Brazil, where he represented the global firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers to the PwC member firms in South and Central America. He had oversight responsibility for all regulatory and risk management related matters in addition to functioning as the client service partner for several large multi-national clients that had reporting requirements in the United States.

Scott is a member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a member of the Utah State University School of Accountancy Advisory Board, and previously served as the president and vice-chairman of MountainWest Capital Network, a Salt Lake City-based group of entrepreneurs and service providers that promotes business growth and the raising of venture capital for businesses based in Utah. Scott is a graduate of Utah State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting.

A native of Hyde Park, Utah, Scott currently resides in Kaysville with his wife, Shiree, and their two sons. They have two married daughters, the oldest of which will graduate from USU in December 2007 with a degree in culinary arts. Their second daughter will complete a master's degree in natural disasters at the University of Utah in May 2008 and is the proud mother of Scott & Shiree's first grandchild.
