Gary Stevenson

Gary E. Stevenson is co-founder, president and COO of ICON Health & Fitness, Inc. and officer and director of ICON Health & Fitness subsidiaries. ICON Health & Fitness is the world's largest manufacturer of fitness equipment whose brands include: Freemotion Fitness, Inc., ProForm, NordicTrack, HealthRider, Weider, Image, Weslo and Reebok. ICON, which is headquartered in Logan, Utah, employs more than 3,000 people worldwide with manufacturing or administrative offices in Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, China, South America and Australia.

Stevenson has served on the Bear River Mental Health Advisory Board and is an Executive Board Member of the Trapper Trails Council for the Boy Scouts of America. He also served as a member of the Utah State University President's National Advisory Council and the Board of the USU Alumni Association. He has served on advisory boards for the USU Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and the College of Engineering. Stevenson was a recipient of the INC. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year for the Inter-Mountain Region in 1996.

The United States Small Business Administration honored him with the Entrepreneurial Success Award and the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business has recognized him with a Professional Achievement Award. Stevenson is a member of the College Volunteer Leadership Council for the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarships at Brigham Young University. He is also a Utah State University Foundation Board Member.

Stevenson graduated with a degree in business administration from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business in 1979.

Stevenson served a two-year mission in the Japan Fukuoka Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since that time, he has volunteered in numerous other capacities for the LDS church, including serving as president of the Japan Nagoya Mission.

Gary met his wife, Lesa, at USU. She also is a USU graduate. They now have four sons: Craig, Bryan, Brett and Kyle, two daughter-in-laws, Errin and Tiffany, and one grandbaby, Cannon.
