Blake Kirby

Blake Kirby graduated from Utah State University cum laude in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Following college, Blake spent three years in the audit and consulting division of KPMG International with an emphasis in manufacturing. During the past nine years, Blake has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial ventures in a variety of industries including finance, real estate, transportation, and manufacturing. Currently, Blake is a shareholder and chairman and CEO of Inovar, Inc., in the past he served as the Big Blue Club president and currently serves on the board of directors. Inovar has made a three–year deal with ClearOne Communications to handle all of ClearOne’s product manufacturing as well as its 12,000–square–foot production facility at its headquarters in Salt Lake City. Inovar has also received the prestigious Best of State Award three years in a row.
He enjoys traveling, golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, scuba diving, and sporting events. He was awarded the 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Blake’s wife, Kristin, received a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2000 from USU. Blake and Kristin have two children and they reside in Providence, Utah. They support the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business National Advisory Board Scholarship.
