2005 Results Business Major Field Test Educational Testing Service

Colleges and universities throughout the United States use the Major Field Test in Business developed by Educational Testing Services (ETS), Princeton, New Jersey, to measure student academic knowledge and to assess the educational outcomes of the business program’s core subjects collectively as well as separately. A combined random sample of 136 graduating seniors from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business took the test in December 2004 and April 2005. The sample was selected by requiring all students in three sections of the capstone course to take the test. Percentile results are compared with 80,044 examinees nationally from 469 institutions.
