2007 Results Business Major Field Test Educational Testing Service

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is very pleased to report the outstanding performance of our graduating seniors (class of 2007) on the Educational Testing Service Major Field Test in Business. All 91 Distance Education graduating seniors from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business capstone course took the test in April 2007. Compared to the 8,996 students taking the test nationally, students in the Distance Education Business Program at Utah State University had a mean score in the 65th percentile. This mean score ranked USU Distance Education Program in the 80th percentile compared to the 181 other institutions taking the test. The test assesses basic competency in the business core subjects of accounting, economics, management, quantitative business analysis, finance, marketing, legal and social environment, information systems, and international issues. We are very proud of the demonstrated competency of our students.
