Huntsman students are much more successful in discovering their career path when they have regular exposure to alumni who can impart their experience and advice. These interactions are highly beneficial for students and are a great way to give back to your alma mater. Please see the list below for the variety of ways that alumni can stay engaged at the Huntsman School.

Career exploration visits allow students to interact directly with business professionals and better understand expectations of employers. We conduct 15 such trips each year; 11 within Utah, the rest in NYC, Washington DC, Los Angeles, London, and Paris. The Wasatch Front visits are structured as day trips. We visit 4-5 employers, spending about an hour at each company.
Networking dinners and other club events allow students to expand their connections and practice their networking skills. No formal presentation is required on your part, but we hope that you’ll get to know a few students and help them make associations for their future careers.
Professionals from the industry provide unparalleled insight into the realities of the workplace. We have speaking opportunities available within classes, clubs, and lecture series.

Internships and employment opportunities are a great way to help a student learn the skills necessary to be successful in the workplace. They are also a great test for a potential full-time employee.
If you are involved with hiring at your company, check out the Hire Huntsman webpage. We can post your job and internship openings on Career Aggie, where it can be seen by any student looking for a job. We can also circulate your position opening through the appropriate clubs.
