Dean's Message

Jon Huntsman challenged us to build a world-class institution, and to produce students who could compete with the best and brightest anywhere in the world. His generosity has helped to transform our school, and with each passing day, we move closer to being a top-tier business school.

From recently passed faculty member and renowned author Dr. Stephen R. Covey to alumni like Deloitte Global CEO Jim Quigley, and most of all our great students, the Huntsman School Community is engaged in the mission of elevating our game. Dr. Covey’s active involvement has already brought about a new course in career management, which we believe will help our students focus on their own unique talents and passion. Our students continue to gain recognition for their research, academic proficiency, entrepreneurship, and service. I would like to mention just one of our many student achievements in the past year – a team of our students who created Politicit, a web-based neural-network technology that evaluates political candidates. These students recently placed in the top 5 of the Intel Innovators Challenge.

You are an important stakeholder in all of our successes. The additions of world-renowned faculty, expanded programs, and continued excellence by our students is made possible by the combined efforts of the entire Huntsman School community – our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.
