Willard resident Mitch Zundel has been named Box Elder County’s economic development director. The
former Brigham City real estate agent has an undergraduate degree from Utah State University in business
information systems and a master of business administration. He is a member of the Willard City Council.
Zundel is chairman of the Box Elder Economic Development Alliance, a collaborative public-private
partnership that encourages business growth. His other business credentials include starting the Brigham City
Entrepreneur Launch Pad, a professional networking organization. He also was instrumental in designing the
county’s Business Resource Center.
