SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANCY RECEIVES GENEROUS GIFT - JULY 2009
The School of Accountancy is pleased and honored to announce the receipt of a generous gift in excess of $200,000 from the estate of Edna Southworth. The gift will be established as an endowment in support of accounting students at USU. Ms. Southworth was a long-time friend of Professor Jay Price, and had developed a special affection for the students at USU because of their typical attributes of hard work and adherence to strong ethical principles. The School of Accountancy very much appreciates the thoughtfulness of Ms. Southworth, and the ongoing support of Professor Jay Price.
